The body of the G-400 is constructed from mahogany, a tonewood favored for its warm, rich resonance and sustain. The guitar's solid construction and set neck design contribute to its impressive sustain and overall tonal depth. The deep, cherry-red finish is a classic choice, which highlights the guitar's sleek contours and iconic design.
This guitar is in overall good condition, with only some minor scratches on the font, back and neck. There is one small knock between the bridge and saddle which is only noticeable under certain light. The main flaw to note is that the bottom strap button has been glued in by the previous owner, and some excess has dried on the body. but it is again only visible under certain light and doesn't effect the sound, comfort or playability of the guitar.
